Plastic Plates – Toys
I first heard of Plastic Plates last year when we posted his remix of I Blame Coco’s Turn Your Back on Love. Probably best known for his remixes of Adele and Mark Ronson, 2011 was a big year for the Sydney-born LA-based producer, with a number of attention-grabbing nu disco and pop remixes. But today, we hear his first original piece, Toys.
A nu disco anthem with melodic basslines, synths, and the odd xylophone and clap, the track has a euphoric house feel with killer progressions and builds. Make sure you grab the free download below and don’t forget to dance.
