PB&J have done an outstanding job on this one, reaching out to the far corners of the world to bring you some of the finest and freshest sounds around. You should be familiar with a lot of the names on the Funk Compilation as Remix86 favs like Kreap, Oskar, She Said Disco, Calembour, flubba, Cream Dream, Florian Bery and Cantinabend. There’s also a lot of stuff that was new to me but they have one thing in common, all damn enjoyable tracks.

A couple notable works, Tobtok stepped out of his usual zone and went for an ocean house sound, and he killed it. Would definitely love to hear more of it. Loopalike brought a really unique sound, creating one crazy gypsy-like banger. Also I gotta highlight Pleasurelove’s contribution with Ditch, the most impressive work I’ve heard from him. Expertly sampled, sidechained to hell and one killer funk groove. Amazing stuff, and available for free. Grab’em below.

PS – You may or may not have noticed a certain “Mysterio” on the compilation. Well, inconspicuously enough, that names actually a pseudonym. Can you tell which talented young producer it is from listening to the track?
