Pase Rock – Nights (Shazam Remix)
Damn, now that’s a combination. Pase Rock is one of the biggest names in boogie down party sounds, usually accompanied by massive ghettotek/electro productions. So to see funk/nu disco master Shazam’s name in the same track title, surprise was the first thing I felt, then confidence that this would be amazing, then a frantic panic to press play.
It does not disappoint, a sexy downtempo nu disco joint, with a sensual R&B feel. This is the first thing we’ve heard from the Perth native in quite a while and we certainly hope that this is indication of more sweet new jams to come.
