Latest from Cézaire, Alexandre Louvré, Munk & Peaches, Loverboy, Deezkonaut and Audioerotique

Well boys and girls I have to say, January has been good to us. There’s been a great amount of fantastic new music lately, and you might have noticed that we’ve been doing a few bulk posts to stay on top of it. And that’s only in our specific field of genres, which prompts me to ask, has it been the same way with other genres that we don’t cover? I ask this seriously because many blogs, us included, consider 2012 to be the year for a surge in indie, disco, french, funk and soul-based electronic music. If the surge has already begun, then we’re in for one euphoric year.
But onto the fresh tunes, let’s begin with Parisian producer Cézaire. Dig filters? The you’ll dig this. Really fresh and bubbly sound with an overall feel good mood, fine stuff.
Alexandre Louvré, a man who never disappoints. He recently uploaded this edit of Kool and the Gang’s Get Down On It, and I’ve been gettin’ down ever since.
If you follow German label Gomma then you likely know about their Casablanca Reworks project. Most of the album is not really my kind of thing, except for Munk & Peaches collaboration on You Can’t Run From My Love, which I’ve been listening to almost non-stop. Preview below or check and purchase the rest of the release here.
My first encounter with Italy based Portuguese producer Loverboy, his latest track has some seriously sensual funk. Random Biggie one-shots, sexy vocal sample, ultra bubbly and filtered bass. It’s time to Get Honey.
Another first-timer to this online publication, here’s Texas based Deezkonaut with a tasty filter/disco house track, Deep Love.
And finally, we have Lithuanian producer Audioerotique with his re-work of Reach Up by Toney Lee. A fantastic edit of a classic.
There you go, tons of fantastic sounds in these last three posts, so I’ll take this opportunity to remind folks of the Streampad player at the bottom of the page. Press play, and disco all day.
