La Zebra – After School Special EP
Well it’s decided, my favourite album art of the year goes to Le Zebra’s fantastic After School Special EP.
But besides that fantastic piece of disco ball wieldin’, majestic zebra ridin’ glory shown above, the music is a real work of art as well. Absolutely amazing samples and a huge disco / funk vibe make this one of top releases I’ve heard this year. The first three tracks are a frenzy of feel good waves with explosive dance electricity. And for the night’s wind down you have the fourth track, The Extraordinary Voyage. A dreamy lounge track that will be the theme for the extraordinary voyage to the bedroom.
