Ellie Goulding – Lights (Shook Remix)
In January I posted the WIRED Dubstep Remix of Ellie Goulding’s Lights. Not being a huge Dubstep fan myself, the song really changed my attitude towards the genre. Now after just listening to the Shook Remix of the same song, I’m realizing it’s the purity of Goulding’s vocals that make it able to be carried over into a multitude of genres.
The Shook Remix of Lights is smooth and sexy as fuck. The piano work at the beginning carries you into a flowing bass line and funky groove – a vibe similar to that of Flight Facilities’ Crave You, with sensual female vocals and gyrating beats.
