HOT BISCUIT.
Drawn in by the need to make people dance, Hot Biscuit began her rapid ascent in the DJing world in February 2010, playing at various clubs, shows and special events. Having recently opened for the talented Go Go Bizkitt!, published by CBC/Radio-Canada, and posted by Colombian Fashion Magazine Slang, Hot Biscuit has become a local icon in the DJ scene, making mothers dance with every mix and mixtape.
High energy performances with an infecting feelgood vibe are what we have come to expect from this hot and humble Lady J. With a strong background in marketing, advertising and graphic design, Hot Biscuit is now a co-owner and creative contributor of remix86.com. (She was actually born in 85, but 86 sounded cooler).
LANCE WICKS.
Lance Wicks started DJing shortly after he discovered bboying. Known as bboy SNAP, Wicks competed in various bboy competitions and helped found the first bboy crew in Newfoundland, Canada, East Rock Crew. The top rock, windmills, and baby freezes inspired Wicks to learn more about the music that was making him move, and today he mixes and enjoys a wide range of fresh delicious jams.
Since 2005, Wicks has mixed alongside some of the world’s most talented DJs and producers, including JFK of MSTRKRFT, Jokers of the Scene and Bit Funk, and has also participated in Red Bull’s Thre3Style competition. Now co-owner of remix86.com, Wicks travels around meeting artists and dancing to the world’s finest beats.
